Exclusive: 'I don't know if girls fling themselves at Super Eagles players, I'm just hearing about it' - Odion Ighalo

Super Eagles and Watford striker Odion Ighalo has revealed he isn't aware if girls fling themselves at national team players whenever they come back to Nigeria for national team duties.

Nigerian girls who have intentions of being wives or girlfriends , reportedly fling themselves at Nigerian footballers whenever they return to the country but Ighalo, who is happily married with 3 kids says he is only focused on his career and marriage and isn't aware of 'other' happenings in camp.

When asked how he deals with girls that fling themselves at him in camp and on social media despite his marital status, he said;
'I don't know how others deal with that, but for me i'm a happily married man, i don't know if girls fling themselves at other players, i don't Know.' It's you that is saying it now, because me i don't know because i've not seen that before, i'm just hearing it'' Ighalo said to Linda Ikeji's Blog.
'I'm a family man, i don't bring my family out, i'm a married man with 3 kids and i respect them. Me myself i hardly post on social media about myself talk more of my family. I'm happily married'

Explaining his goal drought from January following his meteoric rise in the premier league during his maiden season in the EPL with Watford, Ighalo said to LIB.
'There was really no reason behind my goal drought, as a striker you go through dry spells, so that was what happened, the second half of the season not only me but the team didn't perform well because we believed we were safe from relegation so we relaxed. The goals didn't come that much, although i had personal issues but i can't use that as an excuse. I'm proud to have scored 15 goals in my first season in the EPL, its a great achievement,''
