Over time, Footballers have shown that they also humans through the countless errors they make. In 2014, news broke out that Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtious slept with girlfriend of Belgian teammate, Kevin De Bruyne in 2012. Apparently, De Bruyne had cheated on his girlfriend with her best-friend. So Caroline Linen went ahead to have an affair with teammate, Courtois to get back at him. Although, it appears the duo have buried the hatchet.

The Inter Milan striker decided to snatch his teammate’s wife; Maxi Lopez was married to Wanda Nara, and the couple had three children. Mauro Icardi is now married to the Wanda Nara and has another kid with her. Maxi Lopez refuses to shake Icardi’s hand whenever there’s a clash between Torino and Inter Milan.

Although, the 24-year-old may appear to be a decent player on the pitch but his track record off the pitch is not impressive as the Ghanian player allegedly had a four-year affair with the wife of Ghana teammate Afriye Acquah. A leaked tape on YouTube revealed Ayew four-year affair with Ghana teammate wife Afriye Acquah’s wife, Amanda.

Another player that appears to be a fine player on the pitch, but his track record with the opposite sex in not one to cheer about. In 2014, Christain Lell accused Ozil of being romantically involved with his girlfriend, claiming Ozil and Melanie had exchanged messages over social media.

The famous story of Terry getting romantically involved with then-teammate Wayne Bridge’s wife Vanessa Perroncel could not be erased from the mind of  English fans.
