Why Women Prefer Bad Guys

Most men fall into the bad boy or the nice guy category. In my opinion, the perfect man is the one who treads a line between the two.

Without further ado, here Mac discusses why most women prefer the “bad guy”.

1. The Nice Guy Lacks Self-Esteem; Nobody respects a doormat. Nice guys don’t set boundaries neither do they make any real demands. A bad guy doesn’t let a woman walk all over him.

2. The Nice Guy’s Personality Doesn’t Seem Genuine; They are nice to a fault. You can’t be that nice except you are a saint. They are busy being nice instead of being real and women instinctively don’t trust that.

3. They’re So Predictable- Which Is Boring; Most people lead boring, predictable lives so they are attracted to people who are unpredictable and exciting. Bad boys are always a challenge. Nice guys are never a challenge.

4. Loving A Bad Guy Is Just Natural For Most Women; Women are designed to nurture. However, instead of doing it with children, they often end up doing it with bad boys. They think their love would save them. Nice guys rarely require saving.

5. Women Like To Feel Needed; Nice guys usually don’t need to be “fixed” while bad guys usually do. Some women think if they can create the perfect man, he would never leave. Also, if they are busy fixing someone else, they won’t have time to look at what needs fixing in their own lives.

6. Nice Guys Seem Weak; Women are subconsciously attracted to potential mates with strong genes. Bad boys send a subconscious message that they possess those powerful genes.

7. Nice Guys Are Into Commitment; If a woman is afraid of intimacy, she obviously knows she can avoid it with a bad boy.

8. Low Self Esteem; Some women don’t feel comfortable with people who treat them better than they treat themselves. If a woman doesn’t think much of herself, a bad boy would reinforce that negative feeling. A nice guy would treat a woman in a way she’s unfamiliar with and it would make her uncomfortable.

9. Mind-blowing s3x; Women assume a nice guy won’t be good in bed. A bad boy comes across as being able to deliver even though that might not be the case.
